People sometimes ask what my “signature style” is. But my style and my favorites aren’t the jumping-off point for creating YOUR ideal space.
I don’t want people to know that a room is a “Quinn Morgan design” at a glance. Every client, every space is an opportunity to collaborate, play and create something unique. I get to know you well and listen deeply to what’s important to you, what you will be doing and how you want to feel when you spend time in a room.
I create a fully customized design, honoring the cherished items that you wish to keep and creating spaces that allow you and your life to flourish.
My interest in design started at a very young age; at age 8, I was already rearranging my friend’s rooms. My beloved Auntie, a multifaceted artist, took me to estate sales and encouraged my eye and talent throughout my childhood. I am incredibly lucky to be able to say that this is not only my career, but my calling.
I have a background in fine art and painting, and completed a BA in Art History and Literature from the University of California, Santa Barbara, followed by a degree in Interior Architecture/Design from the Academy of Art in San Francisco. Even before graduating, I went to work as an interior/architectural designer with my esteemed mentor Malcolm Davis at Malcolm Davis Architecture. I was so fortunate to work closely with him for eight years.
I also worked as a Senior Designer for Laura Martin Bovard Interiors and at Backen, Gillam and Kroger, honored as a Top 100 firm by Architectural Digest.
